For Parents
- Are you concerned about your child’s wellbeing and future?
- Tired of the constant fight with your child to eat their veggies?
- Exhausted from the daily struggle to get your child to sleep?
Raising happy and healthy children has become increasingly difficult and the number of children with physical, behavioural and emotional problems is increasing at a terrifying rate. But it does not need to be like this. We can prevent the majority of medical problems that are plaguing us and our children by simply modifying our lifestyle.
This children’s book is all about helping kids make healthy choices so they can grow up strong and happy. Charlie’s adventures teach them five important lessons: getting enough sleep, playing outside in nature, eating nutritious food, drinking water, and being kind to our Earth. These lessons are part of our "KeenKids" philosophy, which aims to protect kids from unhealthy habits and keep them healthy.

Reading this book with my son has been a game-changer. It made healthy habits fun and easy to understand. Now, he loves making better choices and enjoys bedtime, eating veggies, and playing outside. This book truly makes a positive impact on our daily lives.

This book has been a great influence on my three kids. They loved the game and the song, and now they choose to play outside and get enough sleep on their own because they see it as a good thing.

I have used the book Charlie The Keen Kid with clients, including young people with ASD to learn more about the importance of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. My young clients really enjoy the colourful pictures and the enthusiasm of the main character Charlie. The metaphor of “eating the rainbow” is very helpful for kids to understand the important of including other “colours” in their diet, especially kids who prefer bland “white” foods. Thank you Dr Bernhardi for creating this helpful resource!
